The next day after a snowstorm which hit Long Island on 1.21.14 I went for a photo walk. It was really cold and windy but I did not regret my decision. I saw seagulls resting on the beach, I really liked how wind was blowing snow in their direction, I felt this would show the harsh conditions these birds have to struggle with so I pressed the shutter button.
