Well, actually this photo was taken inside a shower ...belivie it or not. In my house we had a pretty substantial sized shower that i got quite a few cool pics in.Time
We set up and got ready for this photo session at night so that we could black out any light coming in from the windowsLighting
As i said about setting up at night, i wanted it to be as dark as possible inside of the shower space where i set the camera at, so it was almost pitch black in there. We also had just gotten a color changing bulb that you could set the brightness and color on, and i thought if i set the color to white, and turned up the brightness all the way ... and sat it on the floor behind me, the with the darkness and light behind me i was able to create a rich backlighting.Equipment
Lol, well.... actually it was a selfie i took with my cell phone and bluetooth shutter button. All of my pics i have taken are all on my cell phone. This photo was on a samsung s7...i now have a samsung note 9. I don't have an actual camera yet unfortunately, though it is on my wish list to santa someday, but with 5 kids, i dont have a lot of extra money at the end of payday. But someday maybe i can get some actual good equipment so that i may further pursue my passion for photographyInspiration
I love shooting nature and i love taking pics of people .. i think the human body and just people in general are amazing and all beautiful in our own way. And i have always loved boudoir photography, and classy erotic photography, and saw an album once of neat black and white boudoir photos done with heavy backlighting, and thought to myself well im no model, but i also dont have people breaking down my door to model for me, and well.... how do you ask a friend to model nude for you without making them uncomfortable. So i set up and did it myself just to see if i could make a pretty pic of myself like the ones i had seenEditing
Yes, again since this is a phone selfie i used a photo editor app i had downloaded for free and used a heavy vignette to help darken the edges like i wanted to achieve and used a blur and smudge tool to take away the look of my shower in the background, witch gave a cool looking affect to the photo like fog and softened the back lighting and edges around my bodyIn my camera bag
Well no camera bag as of yet sadly, but for now its just my camera phone and bluetooth shutter button and my big bad self(ies)????Feedback
Find pics of what you like on the internet, look at which way or how intense the light is or you want it to be and don't be afraid to be your own model, play around and practice with ideas.
