I was at a local nature preserve concentrating on photographing a Yellow Primrose flower when another visitor walked by and said "there's a snake". I looked about a foot to my right and took this wildlife photo of what crawled out of the woodwork of the boardwalk. It was an approximately two foot long rat snake. Fortunately for me they are non-venomous and non-aggressive snakes. This is one of many wildlife images I created of the snake.
