My husband and I have 12 acres just outside of the town of Odessa and we take nature hikes several times a year. One walk I could smell the unmistakable scent of a decaying animal and came across this canine skull. Working with dogs on a daily basis I knew immediately that it belonged to the canine family but I haven't been able to determine what sort of canine it was. Maybe with a little more research I'll be able to know for sure what it once was.
