We did have ones that traveled, but they disappeared. This one may have several that are in different places. When our others disappeared, I was sad to see them go & also that I never took photos. There was one out of glass that was a flower, it was beautiful. Maybe this one was mass produced as it is significant in history.

It seems to be a lot of places. I thought it was one of our traveling statues that we get from time to time, I did not realize it was in so many places.

I Googled this statue, and it is in many places. The name of it is 'Unconditional Surrender'. I also saw mine will be leaving the end of August & the name was changed to 'Peaceful Surrender'. The sculptors name is Seward Johnson. Will be sad to see it go.

No it was taken in a small town in NC. It was supposed to be taken down in August & replaced with a new statue, but I see it is going to be kept up until Oct. 2022.. The site you mention has a lot of nice statues. This is at a small Art Museum, they have other statues, but not many. Many I like have been moved..the statues get rotated out. Others I like were moved into a children's daycare behind, I would not feel right bringing my camera into that area. My son is grown but I would not want strangers taking photos in his daycare if he were still young. Thanks!
