Location
This photo was somewhat of pure luck and an example being in the right place at the precisely the right time. It was taken at the Tidal River Camping Ground at Wilsons Prom Victoria, Australia.Time
This photo was taken at around 5.00pm it is normally a very busy place to be, but as you can see no one was in sight, everyone seemed to be to busy organizing their evening meal.Lighting
As you can see the lighting was beautifully and superbly supplied by nature. The afternoon sun could not have been any better positioned.Equipment
I had with me my I phone 6, I had stupidly elected to leave the good camera in the boot of the car.Inspiration
I had simply not intended to take a photo at all, just take in the lovely afternoon scenery, so this really was a surprise and gift from nature. I was blown away by how everything came into being. The stars had suddenly all aligned, no people the tide had peaked, the water was mirror like and the cloud formations were just about perfect, not to mention the perfect position of the sun. I have tried on many occasions to duplicate this photo with better equipment but without the same success. Thanks to Mother Nature for this one...Editing
This is one of those exceptionally rare occasions where processing was not required, other than some minor cropping. In my camera bag
Annoyingly all the best equipment had been left in the car... It really was a case of the best camera is the one you have with you.Feedback
Simply always carry your camera gear with you. You just never know when mother nature is going to offer up such a perfect landscape picture.
