Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at Marina Beach, Chennai, India.Time
It was a pitch dark night with some ambient light from the distant street lights.Lighting
The lighting condition is extremely tough. If I was just planning to capture the fire splinters and the sparks then its is a bit simpler. When I tried to capture the women who is roasting the corn the complexity got increased. I always prefer do do light post processing and keep the colours as true as possible.Equipment
The shot was taken on Nikon D5600 using a tripod on a sandy beach.Inspiration
The way of making the cob is very common but, when the forces of natures kicks in, the scene becomes extremely beautiful and it worth capturing the moment.Editing
The post processing is very light on this photo. I played around with brightness, saturation, highlights and shadows. In my camera bag
Nikon D5600, 18-55, 70-300, Manual 50mm prime lens, and macro extension tube.Feedback
Be patient take multiple shots and choose the shot with best air turbulence.
