The moon itself is simply art.
So abstract, unique, detailed.
It’s this huge sphere suspended in the sky. Yet it doesn’t fall or move whatsoever.
It’s like it works in perfect harmony with the earth.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo out in my yard, in the middle of winter, with my iPhone & my telescope. Lining the phone camera up with the telescope was THE HARDEST thing. It took me forever to get a decent shot.

Time

Gosh, I took this photo earrrly one cold, winter morning. Probably around 3:30-4:00 a.m. I live in Georgia and the night sky is so clear and beautiful here. You can see so many stars. I can even see Saturn’s rings with my telescope. It’s really cool.

Lighting

Honestly, I took my phone, the telescope, and just prayed that one would come out decent.

Equipment

iPhone 11 Pro Max, and a telescope off of Amazon.

Inspiration

I love space, the moon, just the whole universe has Always caught my attention.

Editing

I just used my iPhone photo editor. I turned up the highlights. I turned down some exposure. And Added a little sharpness.

In my camera bag

It’s just me and my iphone and my galaxy. I like to keep things simple. I’m capturing the world around me. Not some unbelievable looking scenery that looks like it’s straight out of avatar or Harry Potter.

Feedback

Don’t take it too serious. If you really want the shot, work for it and keep trying until you know you got the perfect one
