Location

This photo was taken at Kathleen Lake in Haines Junction of Yukon Territories, Canada.

Time

This photo was taken midday as it was taken in the winter.

Lighting

In the winter days are pretty short here. Around the winter solstice the sun starts to rise at 10am and set at 4pm. Many days are just grey but this day it was bright and sunny. I had to capture it.

Equipment

I used my cell phone camera for this shot

Inspiration

I like to share my photos and experiences in the Yukon with family and friends in Toronto. I try to capture the beauty around me but to be honest you do not need to be a good photographer or have a good camera to take a beautiful picture here.

Editing

In my camera bag

I always have bear spray, a first aid kit and other essential aids but just a cell phone for pictures at this point.

Feedback

The yukon has some beautiful landscapes. The pictures honestly don't do it justice. Its definitely a sight to be seen!
