A beautifully lit Cymbidium orchid and painted concrete bench noticed from a distance, out of place in a neighbor's totally unkempt garden.
As an orchid lover I was tempted to bring water to it on occasion to maintain it over the summer, but it has since passed on. I'm not that nosy a neighbor.
