I normally carry around an extra battery just in case my current camera batteries dies. I do sometimes take my tripod with me, but it depends what sort of photography I am trying out.Feedback
I would suggest testing out different angles with your camera by crouching and using manual focus to get the right photograph. I would also suggest leaving it around 30 minutes to an hour after it has rained to allow the water to become droplets. The best lighting would be light clouds with the sun peeking through aswell
