This photo was taken in my garden, right outside my front door!Time
This was in the late afternoon, just before sunset.Lighting
Fortunately the sun was still out even though it wasn't very bright as it was quite late in the afternoon. I cranked up the ISO and managed to get some decent shots despite the lower light.Equipment
These were taken with my Canon EOS750 and 100mm macro lens - hand held.Inspiration
My wife had seen one of the cats had been very interested in "something", so she went to go have a look and saw this burn worm scaling the wall, fortunately out of reach of the cat. She called me to bring my camera and take some pics.Editing
I used Adobe Lightroom to do some noise removal and sharpening as well as colour processing and colour grading - no heavy post processing at all.In my camera bag
As an amateur photographer, I don't have a lot of equipment but I carry two or three lenses around with me depending on what I intend to do, photography wise. I'll usually take a tripod for night shots and landscapes, and some lens cleaning stuff if I'm far from home. I'll usually take my Insta360 action camera along to capture any video that might be interesting as well.Feedback
Every day creatures like insects, spiders, worms and so on can look fascinating when photographed in macro - go out into your garden and look for interesting little creatures and get up close to snap their pictures.
