I captured this photo in my home in North Carolina , a small natural light room that Is a favorite hang out place for my cat..Time
Around mid afternoon, which provides the best lighting..Lighting
The natural light in this room is amazing.. it has been a challenge for me however, I continue to force myself to shoot in that room to gain more expose (no pun intended) to using natural light as a source for my photography.Equipment
Like most, I own a few cameras yet, I love my Canon T2i rebel with my favorite lens, Macro 100mm..Inspiration
I’ve been teaching Henry the cat to look at the camera for photos. He’s now learned that when I bring out the camera, point it at him, he hears the camera focus and he expects a treat! In this capture, he was a bit anxious for his great and I snapped just at the right time as he was looking for the treat.Editing
My opinion on edits is to keep it simple. I don’t use any “fancy” software. Just a few simple tweaks from Snapseed and I’m happy! In my camera bag
I typically care the equipment I’m going to use for what I plan on capturing. For example, If I’m headed to the zoo, I’m taking my 300mm and my “nifty” 50mm.Feedback
Simply put- patience. Regardless of what my subject is doing, I never let my eye leave the viewfinder. The moment you do, that moment you wanted could be gone! Just go out there and have fun!
