This photo was taken at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria South Africa. This was at the top . I have been doing photography for over 15 years and I'm self taught .Time
One of my favorite photo's in my collection. This was taken at 8am in the morning. The sun was just coming up . Love the natural lighting.Lighting
I'm a person that prefers the natural lighting . The sun was beaming through the arches which made it equally special .Equipment
My go to camera is my trusty Canon 60 D and with my 18-200 mm . This lens is the best one I always seem to use . It's very universal.Inspiration
For me I always love using framed shots . It's fun and love the repeative lines in this photo . So this inspired me to get this shot because of the amazing history of this monument. So unique and beautifulEditing
I didn't do much post-processing . I tried to keep it as natural as possible .In my camera bag
My equipment I have in my bag would be Canon 60D , 18-200mm , 10mm fish eye and second hand 70-200mm lens .Feedback
For those who want to do something similar. Think of your composition, rule of thirds , look out for your lighting and look for the textures which make it interesting. Most of all have fun .
