Blondin Island in Peninsula Harbour just off Beatty Cove. From my years living on the beautiful north shore of Lake Superior. I would often kayak out to the islands in the harbour (weather permitting) in the evening. These islands are uninhabited,except for hundreds of nesting Loons. As I paddled near in the quiet evening their calls would echo off the rock outcroppings and across the water.
