The world of backstage entertainment is quite fascinating. From time to time, i have a chance to interact with the entertainers and photograph them backstage.
The last performance of the evening was coming up. The dancers from The Spacial Guest had this beautiful and elaborate costumes on. As they were passing under the overhead spotlights, i saw the shadows that were forming on their faces. So, I just had to ask if they could pose as you see in the image so that hands and the shadows would create this mysterious veiled belly dancer-ninja look. The image came out exactly as i wanted and the performance they gave was awesome.
