Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the local camera club using a Nikon D810 camera; I cropped in to the head to see the softness of the fathers

Time

on a bird off pray night.at 20.11 pm on the 20/07/2016

Lighting

Looking to too get the owl to stand out from the background without using any sort of lighting only the lights of the room

Equipment

Nikon D810 handheld,no flash or tr f.stop----f14 exposure time----1/320sec iso-----iso 100 focal length-----300mm

Inspiration

Looking for the right time for the owl to turn is head to the right so that could get shadow right

Editing

Very little editing in photoshop but i did use sharpening ‘and a little tweak with the saturation also crop in (i try not to do much editing to the photos if at all)

In my camera bag

I take with me my Nikon P900,Nikon 310 and the main camera is my Nikon D810,it all deepens what I’m going out to take photos of but i usually take my 85mm leans,80-400 mm leans, and a 150-600mm leans if I’m going to shoot sports .lens cleaning kit spar batteries and sd cards. Tripod, rain cover etr.
