Photo taken in a dark part of the studio with little daylight. I lightly illuminated the models on her left side.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D500, with an Sigma 18-35 f/1,8 lens plus flash with an small octa softbox.Inspiration
I was inspired by an interesting painted wall in this studio. The American portrait of Anna on this wall looked great. The soft daylight reaching this place added to the atmosphere. I only used the flash to complete the frame.Editing
Post-process done in Lightroom and PS. I gently turned off the light and made the shadows stronger. I softened the image.In my camera bag
Currently, I have a Nikon D500 and a Nikon D800 in my backpack. The Nikon D500 works with the Sigma Art 18-35 F1.8 lens, the Nikon D800 works with the Nikkor 85G F1.8 lens. I also have a Nikkor 50G F1.8 and a Tamron 70-200 F2.8. In difficult lighting conditions I have the Nikon SB-800.Feedback
If you want to take a similar photo, first look around. The wall can be an interesting background and the light complements the scene. And most importantly, remember to work well with the model. Good collaboration is a good photo.
