Thank you. They were great days. Sadly, they are not continuing.

Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken during a diving trip to the Bahamas. The aim was to dive with Oceanic White Tip sharks.

Time

This shot was taken during a very successful morning dive.

Lighting

The shot was taken making use of natural lighting. As we were quite far away, the use of a strobe was pretty ineffectual.

Equipment

I took this shot with my Sealife DC 2400.

Inspiration

During our dives, I had taken many nice shots of the sharks. I was lloking at the interaction of diver and shark.

Editing

Very little post processing. I cropped the picture so as to make this image and did a few adjustments to tone and exposure.

In my camera bag

Whilst diving, I have my Sealife DC2400. I have two lenses, a fish eye and a macro. Other than that, I have a strobe and a video light attached to my camera housing.

Feedback

Unlike land photography, a lot of underwater photography requires that you are alert and adaptable to take a shot in all sorts of conditions.
