Behind The Lens

Location
This photograph was shot in the Kruger national park close to olifants brug
Time
Round about 10 AM maybe 11
Lighting
The morning was overcast with a few dark grey spots in the clouds
Equipment
Canon 1DX mk ii And a 400mm mk ii
Inspiration
Just saw the mom grooming her pup and common folk, and me used to see the hyena as a violent and ferocious animal but it does have its gental side
Editing
Yes I did I removed hyenas from the background in this shot there was a few, I also just adjusted the colours slightly to give the image a colder feel
In my camera bag
Nikon D850 Nikon 70-200 Sigma 24-70mm Nikon 105mm Sigma 85mm Sigma 35mm All rentals but that's my go to gear My personal gear is A bean bag A tripod A badger door bracket A benro gimbal And various fiilters
Feedback
Stay and observe the animals stay as long as you can and get to know the animal you want to shoot behaviours of animals determine whether you'll get a great shot or an average one
