Behind The Lens

Location

On one of the many beautiful Queensland beaches.

Time

It was a late afternoon stroll along the beach.

Lighting

I waited because I wanted that sunset glow.

Equipment

I was carrying my Nikon D7000 with my, Nikon 70-200 lens.

Inspiration

I find the seagulls amusing and they remind my living near the water.

Editing

Very little, just a little sharpening, minor enhancements but I wanted to leave it as much as possible as I captured it in camera.

In my camera bag

Simple, My Nikon D7000, a few lenses being, Nikon 24-70, 70-200 and my 50 Prime.

Feedback

Avoid the harsh midday sun, minimal background distractions, look for the interesting capture. For me I like the reflection and that I know he’s walking away from the water for the 10th time.
