Behind The Lens

Location

Taken in Durban On overcast day, sea looked stunning

Time

We drove from Ballito Durban, approximately 75 km. Left home around 04:30 to catch Sunrise around 05:20 onwards, but when we got there overcast

Lighting

Used the light available on an overcast early morning, at 05:20

Equipment

Shot with Fujifilm A7 and 16-89mm F/4 lens. Used monopod with feet and placed it in the surf, too low for shot. Walked up to the pier and shot this photo from there in the monopod. Worked rather well for the angle U wanted to get.

Inspiration

Colour of water and cloudy day, since Sunrise shot became overcast Early morning landscape shot.

Editing

Used LRC and adjustments were made to make it bit more melodramatic to overcast weather and light
