Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the van on the way to my grandfather's funeral. I was full of and surrounded by sadness in this van full of family.

Time

It was morning around 9am on the way to mass for my grandfather's funeral.

Lighting

All natural lighting.

Equipment

I only used my iPhone 11 Pro max.

Inspiration

All the grandchildren were carrying some flowers for his casket. I had been staring at the flowers in my lap the entire drive and decided to pull out my phone to take a picture of them. He always encouraged my photography so I didn't find it inappropriate.

Editing

I increased its contrast and added a vignette to better reflect the mood at the time.

In my camera bag

I always have my phone on me of course but when I'm looking to take photographs I pack my Canon 80D with an 18-55mm lens, 18-135mm lens, and Fish eye lens.

Feedback
