This was taken shortly after sunrise after I had gotten off of work from my full time job. Being a third shifter, it gives me opportunities for morning shots.Lighting
Normally, I prefer sunset lighting for most of my scenery shots because I love the warm light, but I wanted to work on sunrise to see what I could do with it.Equipment
I used an Inspire 2 drone with a Zenmuse X7 camera which has a Super 35 crop sensor and a 16mm lens.Inspiration
Having taken many shots from ground level, I wanted to get a perspective a little higher than I could reach from the ground. Many people think they can only take drone shots from hundreds of feet in the air; while the truth is that they can be taken from any altitude from the ground to 400 feet.Editing
Depending on the shot, sometimes we get cloudless blue skies which lack anything to add to the picture. This photo had some clouds and I just edited it to bring out the colors.In my camera bag
I use a Canon EOS R with a 12mm, a 35mm, a 50mm, an 85mm, and a 70-200mm. The drone only has the 16mm but it takes 40MB sized raw files so there is always plenty of data to work with.Feedback
