This time of the year the lake often has some open water giving great contrast, but the presense of the snow and ice requires an over exposure of about 1 stop.Equipment

I am currently using a Sony next 7 while hining (it's less than two pounds with two lenses and some extension tubes and filters. Around the house and close to a road, I often also carry my D90 with a few lenses.Feedback
Bracketing is something I often do when my image will contain a lot of snow. The D90 foten underexposes images with lots of white in them.
