Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken aboard the California Zephyr as we were meandering through the Rockies in Colorado .I love traveling by train to enjoy the beauty all around.

Time

It is early morning right as the sun starts to illuminate the mountains!

Lighting

The lighting is natural from the sun looked out my window and saw the highlights and shadows being emphasized by the warm glow of the sun.

Equipment

This was taken using my Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ70 Lumix DC vario lens f2.8-5.9/3.58-215 ASPH no special equipment

Inspiration

I love traveling through Colorado and the Rockies I grew up there.I especially love when the train meanders along the river and you can look down into the crevices that form the Colorado River. The colors looked especially interesting inn this spot so just had to shoot it.

In my camera bag

Two cameras the Lumix and my canon D 3400 lens filters,cleaning cloths etc sd cards as I have been known to shoot 100's of pictures each trip. Lens filters I may or may not use and extra batteries.

Feedback

Just wait for that moment when then right scene presents itself then take the shot.Travel by train and enjoy the beauty of this world.
