THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN IN MY HOME STUDIO. I RECENTLY PAINTED SOME BACKDROPS. And was wonderinh how they would do on a real shoot.Time
The great thing of studio Photography is that the time of day does not matter that much. You must create You’re OWN light. In this case i used a big Softbox to create Some soft light.Lighting
I like to keep things as simpel as possible. Just one nog softbox was used i think it was about 1.2 meters x 0.8 m or something like that. A big one ????. Just a simple setup No fill was used.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony A2 with a 85mm F1.8 Viltrox lens. And a hand painted backdrop.Inspiration
A big source of inspiration cores from old Dutch (cause i’m a dutchy ????) master painters like Rembrandt. JOEY L. Portraits are a big inspiration to i live the soft and intense feel of most of his portraits. But tons of people inspire me on dayly base, i see so much creativity and craftmanship of tons of less known photograpers. Love to watch pictures on formats like ViewBug / insta or 500px.Editing
Every picture i post is processed in a way, it has to cause i only shoot RAW. Portraits get i quick treatment in PS and NIK software of On1In my camera bag
I mostly shoot the mft format. Lumix G9 and various lenses. For full frame i use Sony a7II aditional.Feedback
look at photographers (and painters) you admire and try to figure out the lightsetup. PRACTICE, PLAY EN KEEP THINGS SIMPLE. Take You’re time and enjoy ;). Dont make photo’s others like. Make Things you think is beautifull.
