Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo from inside my house. I like the challenge of getting an interesting composition from the same viewpoint as the year goes by.

Time

The image was taken at around 6 pm. If you look carefully you can see a seagull flying home to the local reservoir

Lighting

The lighting was completely natural with no filter on the lens

Equipment

Handheld Ricoh camera ten years old with 10x optical zoom.

Inspiration

I liked the colour and shapes of the clouds.

Editing

No post processing was needed

In my camera bag

Ricoh 10x optical zoom and my phone camera as backup.

Feedback

Be patient and use a wide aperture setting so the shutter speed can be high to stop moving clouds from causing blurring
