Sun is the reason life is existent on the Earth, for a million years and more. As a tribute to this very energy that every life feeds on, the kings from the ancient India constructed this epic monument. It stands a 1000 years to date. Considering the foreign invasions, erosion due to time, its indeed a miracle, and testament to their brilliant architectural skills executing intricate carving on stones with limited technological help available during their times.

My take - Hinduism has been a science more than a religion. Off late, its own people have ignored it for their own good. As alike the Sun coming up each day and every day, and like the mythical Greek folklore bird "Phoenix" rising from the ashes, I hope one day such examples will inspire, revive Hinduism and its understanding - to greater glory and peace.
