Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a small town called Vassar, MI while I was out helping to film promos for Q-TV (a subsidiary of PBS).

Time

It was taken in the early afternoon.

Lighting

Natural lighting.

Equipment

I just used my Samsung Galaxy 10+ 5g.

Inspiration

I was documenting my travels when we happened to stop in this great open field with windmills (I love windmills) The clouds hung in a perfect blue sky... I wanted to share this picturesque scene with the world.

Editing

I did some editing to bring out the tones and shadows.

In my camera bag

I bring my Canon T6, two lenses (18-55mm and 75-300mm) my Samsung Galaxy 10+ and phone compatible lenses. small flashlights, gels/colored plastic film, handheld mirror, tripods. Extra batteries and micro cards. Granola bars.

Feedback

Go with the moment. Pay attention to the position of the sun. Mind the rule of 3rds. And most of all, have fun!
