Entrance to the water tunnels dug under the city of Lockport, NY in the 1800s. These man made tunnels were used to provide water power to the local mills in the area. Tours and boat roads through the tunnel became rather popular among visitors. Unfortunately, as other places have experienced, vandalism has ensued-individuals having no respect for property that wasn't theirs, marking it with spray paint to call it their own.
