This photo was taken while on holiday in Barcelona. We visited La Sagrada Familia, a beautiful place of worship and had to make use of my camera when I saw how the light was coming in through the windows. I have a keen eye for photography but am really only just getting started.Time
I think it was just before sunset so the sun was low enough to hit the windows at these anglesLighting
It was still rather bright in the room other than these smaller shaded areas. To make the colours in the light show more, I turned down the brightness to allow for a higher contrast.Equipment
This photo was actually only taken on my phone which I was completely shocked about managing to capture. I think it’s important to remember that some great photos can be captured on the device you constantly have in your pocket as well as the ones taken on a proper camera!Inspiration
I think this photo really captured the beauty of the windows in this architectural piece as a lot of the other windows didn’t capture the light as well in the time of day I was there.Editing
I definitely turned up the contrast and edited the black point to be able to capture the colours in their best form.In my camera bag
As I said, I’m really a starter when it comes to photography so I carry my camera and my phone and use whichever I think is most likely to capture the shot best.Feedback
I always look everywhere in a room and snap as much as I can because you never know what you might get. You can always delete things afterwards
