Location
The image was shot in Bordeaux, France. The day was incredibly windy and the umbrella only last five more shots before it broke.Time
This was taken the 20th of November 2019 at one in the afternoon. Myself and my best friend (the model in the image) had just sat down at a little French bakery when the perfect light hit the cement. It had been raining all day you see and we couldn't let the opportunity pass.Lighting
It had been raining all day and we just so happened to be in the right place when the sun broke through the clouds. The moment only lasted for another 10 minutes.Equipment
The image was shot on a Nikon 3300 with a 55mm lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
The break in the rain and the symmetry of the lines.Editing
This image was turned black and white. I believe it better showcases the shadow of the model, drawing theeye to her and the umbrella. In my camera bag
On days where I know I'm going to be shooting in town/ city environment I normally only have my Nikon 3300 body and a 55mm lens. I find them both enough when shooting in close quaters.Feedback
Look for lines that will lead the eye and position your model or shot to follow them.
