I was out walking through Glencoe and Glen Etive in the Scottish highlands when out of the ferns and undergrowth this magnificent beast stood up giving me the fright of my life as it was only 6 meters from me, as I lifted the camera to take a shot the stag lowered his head pointing his antlers in defence, I lowered the camera stepping back slowly taking shots from the hip.Editing
Adobe lightroom cropped and removed fern hanging from stags mouth using spot removal removed shadows using adjustment tool to bring out the eyes and fur.In my camera bag

Get out there, walk in the wilds, take appropriate clothing and footwear and mobile phone, go off the beaten tracks , stop and sit around some times and nature will come to you, be patent you will not always get the shot but you will experience the great outdoors and nature at its best. but never give up you will get a fantastic shot it just takes time .
