Hewwo was shot in...tadaa, graveyard! In Kuopio, Finland. My favourite furry-tail friends live there, people are maintaining a haunt and squirrels and birds like to have a snack there so I was on my daily walk and met this tufty ear beautyTime
It was afternoon, few days before the Christmas Eve. Finnish winter was mostly very warm and his/her (damn, can't say which one) ears and paws are wet because of raining slushLighting
Even winter days were kinda cloudy, there was still a good amount of light to get nice and clear shotEquipment
I used Olympus OMD-D E-M1 Mark II and 40-150/2.8 Pro lens, freehandInspiration
At first I usually just follow and watch what animals are doing and try to act as invisible as I can so they get used to me, then if they start to "pose" or doing something interesting I slowly raise the camera and start taking pics. This was one of those posing momentEditing
I added some saturation and contrast to make it more alive, the shooting day itself was so grayish and was a bit lacking the vibe I wanted to showIn my camera bag
Well my backpack is loaded with lightweight Olympus M4/3 stuff; 17/1.2, 25/1.8, 12-40/2.8, 60/2.8, 40-150/2.8, 1.4x TC, 2X TC, 2 flashes, extra battery. Also water bottle and some extra snack if neededFeedback
Spot the location and visit as often as you can! Bring nuts :-)
