Shot with a Canon 6D with a canon24-105L. On an Induro tripod set as low as one could get in the snowInspiration
As a lover of the north shore and minnesota in general my inspiration comes from the cold beauty! The winters are so awesome. We have real cold here and with the real cold and huge body of water the shooting can be spectacularEditing
Im not much into editing. Im pretty much an old man shooting old school. I do the simple things, color bumps, contrast, maybe a little texture and clearity, but other than the simple things Im out of the loop! Began shooting in middle school (40 years ago) with a Pentax K100 . I loved it and still own itIn my camera bag
I run around with a two Canons and one Nikon ( i know batting for two teams) Canon 5DII and Canon 6D. Nikon D7200. Most of the im I shoot with the 6D because its way faster than the 5DII. Im in love with the Canon 24-105 F4. A Tamron28-75 F2 Rokinon 14mm f2.8 and a Sigma 120-400 also occupy my backpack. Along with all the things that go with them. Gets pretty heavy at times. strapped to the side sometimes you will find either my trusty Slik 700DX or Inudro 825 carbon as well. A pluto trigger and wired remote are always along for the rideFeedback
DRESS WARM!!! Its a challenge at times because of the burning cold deep snow and ice, ice ,ice!! Layers, good gloves and boots, handwarmers and ice cleats are standard for me. My heated jacket sure helps me stay out for a long time as well
