Milky Way over Crater Lake, Oregon.
This shot has special meaning to me. Capturing a photo of the Milky Way over Crater Lake is on my Bucket List. I have tried a few times over the last few years to go to Crater Lake and capture the Milky Way. However, due to forest fires and heavy smoke in the atmosphere related to the fires I was unable to capture the Milky Way. This year, when I was visiting it was almost a full moon and I was not expecting to be able to see or capture the Milky Way at all. Fortunately, before moon rise over the horizon it got dark enough and I was able to capture this photo of the Milky Way.
