Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a DTLA studio at night. The model had a distinctive look and hair that radiates beauty.

Time

09:00 pm

Lighting

I used on camera Speedlite and fixed light from the side to get the proper lighting.

Equipment

While others my use newer cameras, I love using different older cameras with great lenses. The Nikon D7000 was used during this shoot. I used the manual Nikon 55mm f3.5 AIS lens to get a sharp image.

Inspiration

I really liked the model's hair style and wanted to capture her distinctive features,; moreover, she has the attire the screams class

Editing

I always shoot in RAW Format, so Adobe Lightroom was used to process the image.

In my camera bag

I always bring two cameras to a shoot with a variety of mostly prime lenses..y Canon 6D is always in my bag , because the low light capabilities and image quality is astounding with the proper lens. I also like the quality image of the Canon 5D in the Nikon D800e. Paired with the Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art lens for all my cameras , you can create some spectacular images. A trigger for indoor lighting and Speedlites for outdoor use.
