Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my home town of Wenatchee, Washington. This was shot at a location called Saddle Rock.

Time

I was coming down the mountain from a hike and this was just before sun went down.

Lighting

I wanted to capture the beauty of the sun going down and it’s rays.

Equipment

The only equipment I used was an iPhone 11.

Inspiration

The sun was my inspiration here. I took this near winter solstice and here in the Pacific Northwest it is the day of least light.

Editing

I did not use post processing.

In my camera bag

Lately my only equipment has been iPhone.

Feedback

My only advice to make a photo more interesting is by using balance of focal points leading to a main subject creating movement.
