Location
Actually, this photo was taken in Rockingham, VT. It is an old mill that is located beside the Vermont Country Store.Time
The photo was taken in the mid afternoon on a partly cloudy day. I thought the red wheel against the gray wood of the building would look nice.Lighting
I wanted lighting in the afternoon with some clouds. I try to bring out the natural light for color enhancing.Equipment
The photo was taken with my Nikon 5600, Nikon 18-200 lens. No tripod.Inspiration
I like taking pictures of old buildings I see in the country. Some abandoned and some not. I feel they add character to the landscape.Editing
For processing, I did lighten up a bit an used some color saturation. In my camera bag
In my camera bag, I usually have my Nikon 5600, Nikon Z50, and Canon G7X Mark II. For lenses, I carry, a Nikon 18-140mm and Nikon 50mm prime lens.Feedback
If you like shooting old buildings, decide what time of day you want to shoot to get the light you want. Keep it simple, it doesn't have to be complicated. Shoot what your eye finds attractive!
