Location
This photo was taken in Severn Beach, South Gloucestershire, UKTime
It was sunset 3rd Dec 2019 The tide from the River Severn was just coming in creating lovely reflectionsLighting
I loved the way the light was hitting the bridgeEquipment
I used a Canon 5d mark 11 with a 24-105 image stabilized Canon lens mounted on a very sturdy Manfrotto tripodInspiration
I really love this area the wide expanse of water when the tide is in makes you feel very small. The bridge is a major piece of engineering I often take pictures from the other side so you get the sweep of the curve but light that night was too good to miss.Editing
I only had to do a few tweeks in Photoshop brought the shadows down and adjusted the highlights slightlyIn my camera bag
I carry a large camera bag with me pretty much everywhere I go. I have the Canon 5D Mark11 with a Canon 24-105 image stabilized lens, a 60d with a 70-200mm f2.8 image stabilized sigma lens. A Canon 18-200mm kit lens. A sigma 105 f2.8 image stabilized Macro lens. Always have a spare battery memory cards, filters cleaning cloths , raincover and extension tubes plus remote shutter releases.Feedback
