Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Jasper National Park. Jasper is one of our top favourite place to visit.

Time

The photo was taken around midday while we were driving from Banff to Jasper.

Lighting

The lighting was great in Autumn, not to harsh.

Equipment

This photo was shot with a Nikon D7100 and a Nikkor Lens 18-300.

Inspiration

We love coming to Jasper since it’s where my wife and I first meet. It’s her favourite place too and come to visit when we can. I am a self tsught amateur photographer and still in the learning stage and learning to shoot in manual and in raw format.

Editing

Very little, if I can help. Still in the learning stage of post processing. Adjusted the highlight and shadow mainly.

In my camera bag

For traveling, just the basic. Camera, lens and flash.

Feedback

If I had to take the same photo again, I would have used a 4 ND stop filter and long exposure to motion blur the river.
