Location
This photo was taken whilst out on our lockdown walk. We were in a local wood called Nightingale Valley in Bristol England. The Robins are pretty friendly so can can get fairly close to them.Time
It was around 10 o'clock in the morning, my husband and I had gone there to try to photograph a kingfisher, which didn't show up.Lighting
I love to have a shallow depth of field so that the viewer is not distracted by the background.Equipment
I used my Nikon D3400 with the 55-300mm lens. I didn't use a Tripod.Inspiration
I just love to photograph wildlife in its natural surroundings. You have to love a Robin.Editing
No.In my camera bag
When I'm out walking locally I usually just have my camera and lens, and a bag of bird seed.Feedback
Just be patient, and quite. Keep looking around, you'll be amazed at what you see when you're really looking.
