This photo was taken in my backyard in Southern Ontario, CanadaTime
This was taken in the late morning.Lighting
It was a beautiful sunny day.Equipment
This was shot with my Sony a77II, Sony 100mm Macro, 1/800 sec. f/5 ISO 640, handheld.Inspiration
I was pleasantly surprised to see this rabbit in my backyard when I was taking flower pictures in my garden. I ended up crawling in the grass on my stomach so I wouldn't scare him away, and I wanted to get a face to face perspective. My neighbours must have wondered what I was doing crawling around in my backyard!Editing
I shoot raw images, and then I will process them in Luminar and Aurora to get it to look the way I like. I can't say exactly all the steps I took for this image as I will play around with lots of different settings until I get the best looking results. In my camera bag
I usually carry my Sony 35mm lens, Sony 16mm lens, Sony a7II camera, Sony 100mm Macro lens (my favourite one to use) I also carry a spare battery, and I also have bug repellent as I tend to wander on trails through forests and the mosquitos can be quite annoying. I also have a fold-up umbrella in case I get caught in the rain.Feedback
Patience, patience, patience! It doesn't take much to spook the rabbit!
