This photograph was taken outdoors around the grounds of my home Halloween is my favourite time of year, you can get so creative!Time
This was taken mid afternoon on a sunny day im a natural light photographer mostly especially outdoors and as I wanted the images on the darker side I looked for lots of darker surroundings shelted from the harsh sun bit still enough light to get the right atmosphere for the imageLighting
I knew I wanted my images to be on the darker side to set the atmosphere and draw attention to my subject in this case my son as pennywise. I shoot natural light outdoors and I knew I would be shooting in darker areas so I opted for an overcast day, still bright but no harsh lighting falling on to the trees which would have taken away from the look I wanted.Equipment

Halloween is my favourite time of year you can get so creative, for this my son wanted to dress up as pennywise for Halloween so I decided to make the most of the situation and do a style photoshoot with him.Editing
Most of the work for this image was done in camera the make up was done by a friend the finer details where edited in photoshop mainly just colour grading.In my camera bag
My main equipment is usually my canon 5dsr and my sigma 70-200mm and my canon 100-400mmFeedback
For me location is of great importance I like to scout around my local area for unique settings that will add to the impact of a particular image you have in mind.
