I was taking my camera everywhere in case I came up on an opportunity to get a good shot. On Bluegrass parkway just before going over the Kentucky River was a soft band of fog and the perfect morning light. I did a slight edit and voila this photo was born.Time

I'm always looking for outdoor opportunities to get a shot that is appealingEditing
I adjusted the lighting slightly and the color to give it the ambience I likedIn my camera bag
Camera, batteries, lens cloth, 55mm lens and 75-300mm lens, tri pod, a sheer stocking, wrist strap, water and snack. I carry a prop bag and make-up if doing a photo shoot, and reflector boardsFeedback
My key to capturing moments like these is to always have your camera ready. I can't begin to say how many missed opportunities I've had to get some awesome shots because I wasn't prepared. Keep your battery charged, pack an extra charged battery, have your lens cloth and tri pod and shoot in RAW.
