Behind The Lens

Location

This gorgeous Painted Lady was resing on my old house wall as if waiting for me to take the picture :)

Time

The photo was taken during the golden hour.

Lighting

The wall faced west and was a perfect place at the perfect time for the colours of the Lady to shine bright.

Equipment

The photo was taken with Canon EOS 700D, kit lens 18-55 at 55, f/5,6, 1/400, RAW

Inspiration

At lazy summer sunset time, I was enjoying the view when I saw this picturesque beauty to be enjoying the last sun rays with me. It was so kind to wait for me to take as many pictures as I wanted :)

Editing

Some cropping and slight warming the background was done.

In my camera bag

I normally have my kit lens for the Canon EOS, with a prime 50 mm f/1.8 aside, UV filters for these to keep the lens clean, and usually take an additional flash, in case I have a chance for a nice macro. When travelling, I just keep the kit lense or the prime on as I cannot carry all of them easily. When taking night pictures, I have a tripod and a laptop with me.

Feedback

Just look around, many like this one are around :)
