The ancient Sycamore tree at the entrance of the Keeneland Saddling Paddock is something of a landmark. I can't count how many times I have said or been told, "Meet me at the Sycamore".... This shot shows saddled racehorses being walked by their grooms until the "Riders Up" signal is given. It's all a part of racing tradition.
