Behind The Lens

Location

I made this picture at the beache in Wassenaar,The Netherlands. On the hottest day of the year, we drove to for 1 hrs to the beach to cooldown after sun down

Time

Pretty late in the evening, around 22.00 hrs

Lighting

Really don't recall because I just arrived and had to be quick

Equipment

Sony A6000, Lens model SEL55210, no flash

Inspiration

I love sunsets. We actually went to the beach while it was an extreme hot day in NL and we wanted to cool down, play on the beach with our sons. The colours were just pretty this girl was paddling by so relaxed. I kept me camera low and shot this one. To me it is a very lucky shot, I'm far from being a pro but taking a course is still on my wishlist. I always see things to photograph, but do not have the expertise (yet).

Editing

Not much...just added a bit vignette because I thought that would bring more focus on the paddling girl and orange sun above her

In my camera bag

Just my digital friend and two 'small' lenses. I am a starter

Feedback

Always bring your camera when doing something fun or going to be outdoors in nature. There always something beautiful to try to get into an image....and if it doesn't meet a high the photography standards, it still is beautiful because it is a precious memory
