The photo was taken in a Village in Chiplun, Maharashtra, IndiaTime
This photo was taken at around 11:30 am in the rsiny seasonLighting
Since July is the mid rainy season India the ligthing is not harsh even at 11:30am that this photo was taken atEquipment
I have used Canon EOS 80D with Sigma 150-500mm lens Vanguard Tripod no flash used as the bird is very sensitive and near the nest I didn't want to disturb it since it abandons the nest sometomes due to activity aroundInspiration
I'm very fond of birds and an avid birder, so whenever and wherever possible I take my equipment with me. I was on a trip to the plave purely for this bird as thus place is famous for nesting of this bird and this bird visits Maharashtra only to breedEditing
I have only reduced some highlights and opened some shadow along with increase in contrast that's about what I do in my photographsIn my camera bag
I usually carry my cameras, all my lenses, macro extension tubes, flash, filters and of course tripod if I anticipate low lightFeedback
The birds are quite sensitive especially around their nests. Please do not carry your mobile phones as they tend to disturb the birds, also keep away frim the bird at least around 10 to 20 feet. Please do not capture the nest as some other person may disturb the nest in quest of getting a good photograph and the bird might abandon the nest forever.
